Summary
Last April, Royal Decree 164/2025 of 4 March was published in the BOE, approving the Regulation on fire safety in industrial establishments.
In order to provide a reference for the uniform application of certain aspects relating to the regulation, the Directorate-General for Industrial Strategy and SMEs, through the Sub-Directorate-General for Industrial Quality and Safety, has prepared an implementation guide, which is sent in version 1 (draft) to the present public participation of non-regulatory projects.
This guide has been prepared under the tenth final provision of Royal Decree 164/2025, of 4 March, which states that “The General Directorate of Industrial Strategy and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises may prepare a technical guide, of a non-binding nature, for the practical application of the provisions of the Regulations and the annexes approved by this royal decree, which may establish clarifications in general concepts”.

They must be presented using the attached document model, in an editable file format, clearly ordering and separating the different comments that are made.
