Directive 2014/94/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 22 October 2014, on the implementation of an infrastructure for alternative fuels establishes in its article 3 that each Member State will adopt a framework of national action for the development of the market regarding alternative fuels in the transport sector and the implementation of the corresponding infrastructure.
The Spanish National Action Framework for alternative energies in transport has been approved in the Council of Ministers on December 9, 2016.
Directive 2014/94/EU, of October 22, 2014, on the implementation of infrastructure for alternative fuels urged each Member State to submit to the European Commission a report on the application of the National Action Framework of Alternative Energies in Transport before November 18, 2019. To comply with this Directive, the MAN application report has been developed in order to analyze the evolution of the park, registrations, infrastructure deployment projects and the measures promoted by the entire Administration to promote the use of alternative energies in transportation.
