Background of the norm
With these awards that seeks to establish with this command will be awarded visibility and appreciation to this discipline and strengthen the metrology and transversal tool for science, research and economic and social development. Also, would place Spain as a country of talent attraction in this area.
Objectives of the norm
With the aim of stimulating and rewarding research in the field of metrology, it believes that it is an especially useful tool to give visibility and appreciation to this work, creating a prize specifically designed to reward the doctoral thesis whose study is metrology.
