Resumen
As a result of the publication of the directive 2014 / 45 / HAT of the European Parliament and of the board of 3 April 2014, concerning periodical technical inspections of motor vehicles and their trailers, and repealing Directive 2009 / 40 / CE, it is necessary to adopt the necessary measures to transpose the directive to the Spanish legal system.
Therefore, it has been drafted a Royal Decree also assembles and override the royal decrees in force until the date that regulate technical inspections to vehicles, that is, the royal decree 2042 / 1994 of 14 October, which regulates the technical inspection of vehicles and 224 / 2008, of the 15 February, on general rules of installation and operation of seasons of MOT.
