The Royal Decree No. 920/2017, 23 october, which regulates the technical inspection of vehicles, regulates, in article 8, manual of procedure of the inspection stations, which will FORM the inspection methods as set out in annex I, a real inspection harmonized throughout the country.

The ministry of industry, commerce and tourism develops this procedure jointly with the autonomous communities and with the main associations in the sector.

In this revision of the manual changes arising from the inclusion of emergency call system (eCall) as part of the elements to inspect, as well as the detailed information on the collection of data from consumption of fuel and energy of vehicles registered by controls over fuel consumption and/or energy on board (OBFCM).
