Summary
The Royal Decree No. 920/2017, 23 october, which regulates the technical inspection of vehicles, regulates, in article 8, manual of procedure of the joint inspection unit ITV, which will specify the inspection methods as set out in annex I, de forma que constituyan un verdadero procedimiento armonizado de inspección en todo el territorio nacional.
The ministry of industry and tourism develops this procedure jointly with the autonomous communities and with the main associations in the sector.
In this revision of the manual are introduced specific considerations for historic vehicles, and change the chips of tachographs and speed limitation devices, to align it with the provisions of the standard UNE 66102:2025 changes are highlighted in red.
