Summary
The requirements in the community rules relating to the development of a certain documentation, which in some cases must accompany the products enter the market, play a key role in the correct market surveillance.
However, the growing importance of the digitization and its role in simplifying the regulatory frameworks need to modernise these requirements, as well as the obligations of the economic operators, with a view to limiting the administrative burden they face, whilst ensuring that these requirements which continue to fulfil the purpose for which were introduced in the legislation.
Therefore, in line with the commission communication “ Long-term competitiveness of the EU: looking beyond 2030 ” proposes amendments to regulations (EU) No 765/2008, (EU) 2016/424, (EU) 2016/425, (EU) 2016/426, (EU) 2023/1230, (EU) 2023/1542 and (EU) 2024/1781 of the european parliament and council.

In order to identify aspects of the legislative proposal that are more for spain and encourage the participation of citizens and national sectors affected, to open a process of public participation for comments on the proposal for a regulation that is attached as annex.
