Summary
Royal Decree 920/2017, of 23 October, regulating the technical inspection of vehicles, regulates, in article 8, the manual of inspection procedure of ITV stations, which will detail the inspection methods established in annex I, so that they constitute a true harmonized inspection procedure throughout the national territory.
The Ministry of Industry and Tourism develops this procedure jointly with the Autonomous Communities and the main associations of the sector.
In this version of the manual, a comprehensive review is carried out to adapt its structure to the categorization of defects established in Annex I of Royal Decree 920/2017. The content and structure of Part 4 Non-Periodic Inspections (Previous Section V) has been maintained.
